Kelly Clarkson’s Agent Demanded $15 Million Advance

Sources tell Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com that Kelly Clarkson’s fired manager Jeff Kwatinetz of The Firm demanded a $15 million advance for the ‘American Idol’ champ’s new album ‘My December’ from RCA last summer. That was the beginning of the bad blood, since the singer was turning in an album the label didn’t like. In the end, Kwatinetz was rebuffed and Clarkson received a much more reasonable $1.5 million advance. Read more.
