Kelly Says She Comes From Supportive Family

‘American Idol’ winner Kelly Clarkson chatted with fans on MSN on Thursday. Asked by a fan what her parents thought of the whole competition and whether they supported her throughout, Kelly said, “Of course! My parents are the most supportive. My first solo was ‘Vision of Love’ by Mariah Carey in 7th grade and after I told my mom that I thought I might do this for my career. My parents have been so supportive and kept me grounded. I come from a Godly family and I know that helps.”
