Kevin Is The Best Billy Flynn ‘Chicago’ Has Ever Seen

The New York Post reviewed the latest run of ‘Chicago’ on Broadway finding that the biggest surprise is from Kevin Richardson, who replaces the “all-too-bland and colorless Billy Zane as the sleazy Chicago lawyer, Billy Flynn.” The Post reports, “Richardson, a member of the pop group Backstreet Boys (five albums, 71 million sold worldwide), might seem a classic case of shamelessly opportunistic casting. Wrong! He’s the best of them all – from Jerry Orbach in the original 1975 version to James Naughton in the encore revival.” ‘Chicago’ is throwing a triple punch. The Broadway musical is currently Broadway’s hottest show. The movie, starring Richard Gere and Catherine Zeta-Jones, landed 13 Oscar nominations. The soundtrack, featuring Mya and Anastacia, has been one of the top 10 albums in the U.S. for weeks.

I just saw Kevin in Chicago in Louisville, Ky and was blown away by his performance. He was amazing and had such a presence on stage.
