Kevin Smith Turned Down Jacko’s ‘Hot Rod’

According to the Associated Press, Kevin Smith, director of the upcoming Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez film ‘Jersey Girl’, told Playboy in an interview that he got an offer from the eccentric pop legend to direct a script called ‘Hot Rod’. Cast in the lead, Michael Jackson would have played a man who can turn into a car and be driven by a kid. Smith not surprisingly turned down the offer, calling it “strange.”
