‘American Idol’ season two finalist Kimberley Locke has teamed with General Mills to help raise awareness of Breast Cancer. “My aunt is a breast cancer survivor. So, as someone whose family has been directly touched by this disease, I’m very passionate about getting people talking more about their health,” said Locke. “Knowing that Black women suffer more aggressive tumors and often face the disease at a younger age, I was honored when General Mills invited me to help educate my sisters about joining this place of connection, hope and information.” To find out more about ‘Pink for the Cure’, visit myspace.com/pinktogether.
