Kimmel Jokes About Ruben & Clay, Nick & Jess
Jimmy Kimmel joked about ‘American Idol’ champ Ruben Studdard and runner-up Clay Aiken during his American Music Awards opening monologue on Sunday night, “We have quite a group of people. Famous couples. Ruben and Clay are here. Not that they are together but they are here pretending to like each other one last time.” Later, he joked about Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees and Jessica Simpson. “Oh, we got Nick and Jessica backstage and she looks incredible. He looks like he’s had enough.”
