KRBE Cans Atom & Maria

Houston’s KRBE FM announced Friday that popular radio personalities Atom Smasher and Maria Todd have departed the station. The duo hosted Atom and Maria in the Mornings from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. Their last air date was Friday morning. Smasher and Todd were told of their termination immediately after Friday’s show. Shortly after, Todd said, her work e-mail address was shut down and her office keys were confiscated. “They just said the station was going in another direction,” she told the Houston Chronicle.
