Kylie Minogue Expresses Sympathy For Britney Spears
Radio 1 reports Kylie Minogue said in a press conference over the weekend that people should go easy on Britney Spears, following her on-camera tears, because she’s young and has a punishing work schedule. “Promotion is probably the most gruelling aspect of the job. You pass all these other performers, pop stars, singers and bands, and everyone just looks as tired as everyone else, everyone’s just crossing paths, and they all look as exhausted as you feel,” Minogue said. “I didn’t see the [Diane Sawyer 'Primetime'] interview, but when I was her age I was finding some things pretty difficult as well. I think we forget she’s 21 years-old. It seems like she’s got her family around her, and that’s where I turned when things got difficult for me. I think if you have that you’ll be fine.”
