While Kylie Minogue searches bumped up slightly from October 2001 to December 2001, they’ve really skyrocketed since then on pay-per search engine Overture.com. The singer’s US popularity has mushroomed searches for the singer from 84,237 last December to 161,778 last month. That figure tops U.S. pop stars such as Christina Aguilera, Mandy Moore, and Jessica Simpson, while it closes in on Madonna’s 190,000 searches. Kylie’s most popular song not surprisingly was ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’ with 484 queries. The most popular misspelling for the singer was ‘Kylie Minoque’ with 6,787 queries.
