Kylie Minogue opened up to Heat magazine about her relationship with model James Gooding which has been full of drama, including Gooding enjoying a snog with socialite Beverly Bloom and being pictured holding hands with model Sophie Dahl. Kylie explained her arguments and public tears over Gooding saying, “Every couple has its disagreements. I was in a foul mood anyway, so it took very little for me to fly off the handle. All I could think of was, it’s cold, it’s miserable, and I want to go home.”

I’ve never had this romantic vision that everything will be OK if I get married but I’m fairly content. So far I’ve been committed to work in my life and that has probably got in the way but I have no regrets. Fame has afforded me stability financially.”

February 12, 2002 – Sky News spoke with Kylie Minogue about her efforts to make a break into the U.S. music market where she didn’t sound too enthused by the prospects and the massive touring that would need to take place. Kylie said, “I don’t know if I have the drive and enthusiasm to break in America. I don’t feel the need to to have to tell people how to say my name or discuss The locomotion. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that America wouldn’t be like the rest of the world for me. I’m anonymous there which, I must confess, I kind of like.”
