Kylie Minogue Unlike Her Younger American Counterparts

Scott D. Lewis of The Oregonian reviewed ’s latest album ‘Fever’ giving it a ‘B’ rating and described the sound in comparison to younger American counterparts Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Lewis said she “doesn’t base her dance ditties on co-opted R&B, but rather, she fuses the synth pop, disco and new wave music that has been fueling Euro-discos for two decades.” Lewis added, “‘Fever’ is also an album that doesn’t let the pace drop. While with Britney and her ilk you get two or three dance tunes and a bunch of boring ballads, with Kylie, it’s boogie, boogie, boogie.”
