Although Kylie Minogue is still wearing the scarves in public, the 37-year-old who is battling back from a breast cancer scare now takes them off in private to reveal her new look – short, straight and slightly spiky hair. “Kylie is not at all vain and understood why she lost her hair – but that has made its return all the sweeter,” a friend tells The Sunday Mirror. “She had been told it might grow back curlier, as happens with some patients after chemo, so she’s delighted that it’s so straight. She’s been through so much it feels a breath of fresh air to think about things like her hair again.”
