Jim Farber of the New York Daily News reviewed Kylie Minogue’s new album ‘Body Language’, which was released in America on Tuesday (February 10). Farber writes, “Minogue’s voice is goosed to the point where, at many points, she barely sounds human. Think: a singing sundae. Yet Minogue’s creamy purrs pair perfectly with the slinky beats and witty synths of the single ‘Slow’. Her coos and huffs also light up the sensual rhythms of a song like ‘Secret.’ Such recordings hold a sweet promise. Given the compliance implied by Minogue’s vocals, listeners get to feel like they’re in control. Meanwhile, they’re being seduced by masters of the groove.”
