Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com has more on Whitney Houston’s new album ‘Just Whitney’ and his latest thoughts on Mariah Carey’s opening week sales success with ‘Charmbracelet’. On Whitney, he says Arista chief L.A. Reid rejected an album’s worth of songs before releasing the 11-tracks on the new album. “I think it’s all about L.A. vs. Clive Davis,” said one source about the absence of big ballads. “He wants to make her in his own image and get Whitney away from what Clive did with her.
