LaChapelle: Madonna Is Nasty And Cruel
French magazine Paris Match spoke with David LaChapelle in a Q&A, where the famed photographer talked about why he didn’t go through with directing Madonna’s ‘Hung Up’ video. “I had written the scenario, was paid for the concept. But after ‘Rize’, when I started to analyze what made me happy or not, I understood that she was not the person with who I wished to collaborate,” he explained. “She is nice when you are alone with her, but when you work for her, she can be very… I don’t find the word… nasty. She is with people she employs. I didn’t want to be tortured.”

Wow! There sure are a lot of people who have worked with the old woman who are saying the same thing. Of course, her fans will defend her, even though they’ve never had the displeasure of working with the old crone.
I believe him. Whenever I see Madonna in an interview, she always seems cold and distant. She does not seem like a warm person at all. Even when she was on Oprah this year talking about her adoption stunt, I never got the feeling that she was a nice person. She’s a cold fish for sure.
Just because she is a women that knows what she wants people like to piss on her. Barbara Streisand use to get the same thing. If she were a man it would be ok for her to be tough and demand excellence but because she’s a women people get all pissy.
other than any other female artist she has taken control of her career and also dictated to others how she want things done and on most fronts has got her own way and admittedly she and her fans recognize what an egocentric ass she was especially in the very early 90’s…but that ain’t no excuse for any bloke or bushite female to sh*ting all over her just cause she ain’t towing their line, other female artists still jump to the command of others, she has and will never will
