What I heard was that Lady Gaga couldn’t wear pants (can but won’t) because her grandmother was blind but can see light colors, so her grandmother told Gaga that she can see her when she’s not wearing pants.
I completely doubt this, because Gaga could wear light colored pants, yet she doesn’t.

I think she doesn’t because her public character (Lady Gaga) wouldn’t wear pant, Gaga is crazy and her clothes should not hide any part of her body. But Steffani Joanna Angelina Germanotta wear more hi dive clothes, you can check it if you see ancient photos of her when she wasn’t famous, she wore pants and t-shirts.
