Lance Bass Tried To Reach Out To Britney Spears

Lance Bass tells GQ magazine in its November issue he reached out to Britney Spears during her moments of crisis, but the pop tart made no effort to respond. “I tried. I tried,” the former *NSYNC star explained. “She’s my neighbor in Beverly Hills. She lives next door. I tried to get in touch with her – I wanted to be that friend to help her. I don’t think she’s having any of her old friends anymore.” The last time Bass was in contact with Spears was after her impulse 55-hour marriage to Jason Alexander in 2004, when the now openly gay singer shared a secret. “I felt bad for her,” Bass explained. “I knew she was about to go through a lot of crap.
