Family Source: Painkillers Had Taken Over Michael Jackson’s Life
June 26, 2009 – With news of Michael’s death, the Daily Mail is expanding on their story last month that the singer was struggling to take part in rehearsals for his comeback tour, which was due to start in July at the O2 in London.
Alison Boshoff initially cited Jackson’s problems with painkiller use to explain why he’d only attended two out of more than 45 rehearsals, but a Jackson family source said he was “just not able to pick himself up out of the painkiller stupor” that he was in.
The unnamed insider added, “He has pain in his back and that is the reason for the drugs, but it is obvious that the painkillers have taken over his life. His family is telling him to ditch the medications and get on with the tour.”
I am sad to know that our beautiful Michael is gone. I grew up with the Jackson 5, I loved his music. Ben was my favorite song. He was a wonderful performer, we need to focus on the positive and not the negative at this time. Michael has done a lot for the people of the world, he put lots of smiles on our faces. He was a great dancer, and worked hard to give an outstanding show at all times. My prayers goes out to his family and close friends. I love you Michael, may you rest in peace.

I would like to obtain a copy of the book Moonwalk, by Michael Jackson. When searching the on-line book stores, I found that the book is out of print, and those that have used copies want to sell them for $250.00 up to $600.00. That is unreasonable. Can you influence someone to bring the book back into print?
It’s been a treasure to live in a time where our generation got to see a living legend! Moonwalk in peace Michael Jackson. Janet Jackson, this is a good time to come back out. I hope you will.
