In a recent interview, Latina recording artist Jennifer Peña proclaimed her respect for artists such as Britney, Christina, Ashanti, and Beyonce. Peña said, “I’m inspired in so many different ways, by so many different people. Bette Midler inspired me to begin singing and Selena inspired me to sing in Spanish. Everyone who’s out there right now inspires me. Beyonce, Ashanti, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears they’re all out there kicking butt, and the people are out there supporting them and love them, that’s called for admiration and respect. Even the people who are out there shopping their demos to record labels, I respect them, admire them, and they inspire me.” Jennifer Peña’s new album, ‘Seduccion’, the follow-up to her 300k-selling ‘Libre’, will be released in May on Univision Musica.

I disliked Jennifer Peña ever since she was asked about what she thought of Mariana Seoanne’s music in an interview for El Gordo y La Flaca. She was like” Mariana Who?” What a loser. Of course she knows who Mariana is. Then she proceeded with a ridiculous act: “OMG, now everyone is gonna think I’m stuck-up ’cause I don’t know who she is!” She reminds me of my ex-best-friend, a Big Fat Liar. Same behavior, same looks, same everything. Every time I see Peña, I see a Selena-wanna-be!
