Leno Not Surprised Jacko Jurors Changed Their Minds
Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Tuesday night, “Two jurors in the Michael Jackson case now say they’ve changed their mind. They now say Michael is guilty. I believe the legal term for this is called ‘book deal.’ … No, the two jurors said they now have second thoughts. Did you see them? I’m surprised these people had first thoughts. … Oh, now they say he’s guilty? Why is it in California it’s always the jury that’s the last to know? Why do we have that problem? I’m not a lawyer, okay? I have no legal training. But it might have been nice if they’d mentioned this while they were deliberating. Don’t you think? … Can we at least get these morons to give us back the ten bucks a day we paid them for jury duty? Can we get that back, possibly?”
