Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday night, “Hey, you been following the Michael Jackson trial? What was supposed to be the prosecution’s star witness, the one that was going to bring Michael down, Jackson’s ex-wife, Debbie Rowe. She actually praised Michael at the trial yesterday. Jackson was so happy, after court, he told Debbie, ‘If you were a 12-year-old boy, I’d kiss you.’ … Debbie Rowe also said that Jackson was surrounded by opportunistic vultures who manipulate him and make a lot of decisions without his approval. Like that whole idea of sleeping with kids, that wasn’t his idea. … She also testified she hasn’t seen Jackson since 1999. She was mad. You know, she walked in on him and caught him artificially inseminating another woman. … She said she met Michael while working as an assistant to Michael’s dermatologist. Michael’s dermatologist? How does this guy still have a job? Let’s put him on trial. This is the guy that should be behind bars. … I’ll tell you, it is not looking good for the prosecution. I think Michael’s pretty confident. He said today he’s gonna have a a big party at the Neverland Ranch on the night he’s acquitted. It’s BYOB, Bring Your Own Boy. It’s gonna be huge.”
