The Mirror reports Liberty X revealed that many of their fans had been assaulted during mobile phone thefts, and as a result, the group decided to become the faces of Immobilize Phone Crime – an initiative which aims to curb the amount of mobiles stolen. Jessica Taylor told the paper, “If you call 08701 123123, your phone gets cut off straightaway. Some kids get their phones nicked as a form of bullying and we’re getting the message across that it’s a crime and they can do something about it.” She added, “I’ve lost so many phones. It’s such a pain when it happens and you don’t know who could have got hold of it.”
