Liberty X Star In Tears Over Boyfriend’s ‘Pop Idol’ Performance

Liberty X star Michelle Heaton spoke with Radio 1 about watching her boyfriend Andy Scott-Lee, who’s also the brother of former Steps singer Lisa Scott-Lee, perform on ‘Pop Idol’. “He rung me up on Wednesday night and said, ‘Oh, I cried.’ And I went, ‘Oh God no, you didn’t did ya?’ But then when I watched it, he got me crying as well ’cause he was so genuine,” Heaton said. “His objective of the whole competition was to get to the final 50 because then he could sing by himself for a minute and show that he can sing. He’s done that. He’s actually won his heat and got through to the final 12 which is a complete bonus. So anything else for me is just going to be brilliant.”
