While Lillix may look like they’re cut from the same cloth as fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne, the group insists in actual fact, they’re more different than they are similar. “Our image is way more edgy than our actual personalities,” declares singer Tasha-Ray Evin. “We’re more down-to-earth. Our image is a little bit off from where we stand. We’re not bitchy and sh**. We’re musicians and that’s how we want to be known. We’re not this fabricated pop group. Everyone’s going to judge you right off the bat but we’re ready for that. It’s going to happen anyway. I just hope people are going to see that we’re actually musicians and respect that. Everyone’s going to compare everyone to Avril Lavigne because she’s hot right now, so of course people are going to compare us to her. It’s just a natural thing.” The full story at chartattack.com has since been removed/relocated.
