Only weeks after suffering a miscarriage, The Sun reports Lily Allen and her boyfriend Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers have ended their five month relationship. “They tried to make things work but couldn’t,” a friend of the 22-year-old singer told Gordon Smart. “The miscarriage was a horrible experience for both of them – and in recent weeks the mood between them had been really strained. Lily is really upset things haven’t worked out for her and Ed. She had talked about settling down for good and having a family.
