Lily Allen the British singer and starlet sat down with CBC Q host Jian Ghomeshi to talk about her new album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’. The British pop singer said she didn’t try to take her sophomore album too seriously, adding that she feels a bigger sense of ownership on the album that she created the songs from scratch rather than writing over backing tracks on her ‘Alright, Still’ debut. Allen also discussed the tabloid media focusing on her, feeling fat and ugly whenever she’s looking at models in magazines, wanting to have a family, being considered outspoken, what she loves about Britney Spears, why she blogs, and more.
