Lindsay Lohan has been upsetting her fellow prisoners by crying herself to sleep every night as the 24-year-old serves her 90-day jail sentence for a probation violation.
“The wards are cold and smelly – they stink,” said 43-year-old Cheryl Presser, who was jailed for a car crime. “The air conditioning is turned up so high that you can’t sleep because of the cold. Inmates try and shove the air vents full of toilet paper to stop the air coming out, but it doesn’t work. Lindsay would lie there shivering all night, crying and trying to cover her face with her hands. Her wailing was keeping everyone awake. She is in with the killers and she has only been let out for hour-long breaks, and during those she was locked down to a table. Today (Friday), Lindsay got put on lockdown. While some of us got two hours to go to the yard, or the TV room, Lindsay was on total lockdown. She had a hysterical fit, crying and yelling so she got put in isolation.” Read more.
Late Night Comics Joke About Lindsay Lohan’s Jail Sentence
The late night comics targeted Lindsay Lohan on Wednesday night while the 24-year-old is serving a 90-day jail sentence for a probation violation. Among the jokes:
Jay Leno: As you know, Lindsay Lohan began serving her 90-day sentence. If it’s anything like her recent movies, she’ll probably be out for two weeks and then go directly to cable.
David Letterman: I know everyone is a little depressed because Lindsay Lohan is in jail, but look at it this way – our streets are safe.
Jimmy Kimmel: It’s Lindsay Lohan’s second day of a 90-day sentence. They say she’ll probably only be there for two weeks, which is barely enough time to learn how to use a spork.
Michael Lohan Hopes Lindsay Takes Jail Sentence Seriously
Michael Lohan talked with Hollywood.tv after leaving CNN studios in Hollywood for an appearance on ‘Larry King Live’ on Tuesday (August 20). “I’m hurt,” Michael said when asked about how he felt about Lindsay going to jail. “I’m very concerned for her, but she’s a strong girl and I think that it will make a difference in her life. I hope she takes it seriously, which I believe she will, and I think she’s gonna fare well.” Watch the comments via YouTube below.
Jake Byrd Supports Lindsay Lohan Before Her Incarceration
Jake Byrd was on hand at Lindsay Lohan’s Tuesday court appearance in Los Angeles where she turned herself in to serve a 90 day jail sentence. The comedy performer, who’s real name is Anthony Barbieri, documented his antics for ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’. Jake held a “Hell-Lo Let Her Go” sign, wore a “Linnocent!” t-shirt with Lindsay’s mug shot, and at one point hugged Lindsay’s estranged father Michael Lohan.
