Lindsay Lohan surrendered to the Beverly Hills Police Department Thursday afternoon to be formally booked for her hit-and-run traffic accident last May, according to information from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s department. Beverly Hills Sergeant Michael Publicker confirmed to Usmagazine.com that Lohan, 21, “surrendered herself to the Beverly Hills Police Department. At approximately 4:15 p.m., Ms. Lohan was booked at the Beverly Hills Jail as a result of her actions related to the traffic accident that occurred on May 26, 2007 within the City of Beverly Hills.” DA spokeswoman Jane Robison said, “We have not charged her with anything yet. The District Attorney is the only agency that has the authority to charge her.”
