Richard Abowitz of Las Vegas Weekly caught up with Lisa Marie Presley for a Q&A and asked the singer about her opportunity to perform on the VH1 ‘Diva Las Vegas’ concert. “That was very intimidating,” she admitted. “I am fresh blood coming out with all of these amazing veteran soulful singers. I am onstage being put in another compromising, high-pressure, very stressful situation live. It was all very last-minute. I think we rehearsed twice before we did it.”

omg! Lisa Marie Presley sucks!
I guess that’s why she wasn’t on stage at the end of the show…she should feel intimidated…i respect her and all as an artist trying to break the mold through her father’s legacy and all but she kinda doesn’t show enough drive or talent for me to listen to her music or watch her live in concert.
She had no right being there. She has one sorry album out and that’s it. She was there because her daddy was the King of Vegas. There too many other accomplished female artists out there that deserved the spot. It was not Lisa Marie’s year as she didn’t earn it like so many others.
