Lisa Marie Presley’s Rolling Stone Cover Story
RollingStone.com has posted their cover story on Lisa Marie Presley, along with her photo session and new video ‘Lights Out’. Referring to the child-abuse accusations surfaced with ex hubby Michael Jackson, Presley still sounds unsure of the truth. “That whole sh** hit the fan,” Presley recalls, “and he was quick to call me and tell me what his side of the story was, so it looked like an extortion situation. I believed him, because he was so convincing.” She frowns wryly. “I don’t know… I just believed everything he said, for some reason. It’s very strange, because there’s not a lot of people who he’ll allow to see who he really is — there’s probably only five or six people, not including kids, who have seen who he really is. But when you do…” She smiles. “He didn’t get where he is because he’s an idiot. You see a real person who’s very much the opposite of what he was presenting.”

Not a lot of people he’ll allow to see him? I can see why. I just don’t believe she was naive. This is the quintessential “poor. poor me”
There is one constant theme with her… she plays naive when she wants to distance herself from any controversy Michael might attract. But at the same time, she seems to be very perceptive when she is accusing him of extortion and manipulation, and for being cunning while putting on an act for the public . I don’t trust Lisa. She is simply an opportunist. She does and says whatever is popular at that moment.
Reading all of these stories makes me feel sad for Michael. I know he wasn’t perfect, but he deserved happiness maybe more so than the rest of us because he put up with a lot of crap in his life. His wife promising him happiness with her vow to give him children then reneging. Constant harassment by the paparazzi and tabloids. Cops and talking heads wanting to see him behind bars just for being different.
I’m surprised he survived as long as he did.
I wonder if Lisa now regrets all of those negative one-sided stories she eagerly chose to do about Mike? I’m not sure if I would someday like her to come clean on all of the comments she told the tabloids and talk shows, or if I would prefer her to just go away for good and never speak of Michael again. He needs to be vindicated, but Lisa has already proven she can’t be trusted.

So true. Someone sees through this act of hers. She is nothing but a selfish, spoiled woman. It is popular to be sorry now. She has received a backlash and wants to make people believe a lie.
The decent thing to do is for her to leave his fans, him and the whole thing alone.
If she “came clean” it would be with a hidden poor me added. After all this time and all these years I don’t believe her. She is still competing with Debbie Rowe. She goes to the cemetery and the fans show her some kindness, Lisa goes and gets no attention so she starts this sunflower thing, which by the way was never his favorite flower. He loved roses-per he and his daughter.
She wants some respect she should be quiet, take care of her family and leave it alone.
