Liz McClarnon checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Monday (November 23), discussing her participation in the memorial service for Boyzone’s Stephen Gately. The former Atomic Kitten writes:
I just wanted to drop you all a note to say that I have been invited to perform at Stephen Gately’s Memorial service this Sunday 29th November taking place at The Palace Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue London at 7.30pm. I’m so honoured to have been asked to take part in this event, having been a big fan of Boyzone from a young age. I’ve been fortunate enough, through my job, to have met Stephen on numerous occasions over the years, and I can honestly say I’ve never met such a genuine, humble man.

As far as I know this is a private event and no information was supposed to be released by those involved/invited. Believe this is the case as Liz is the only person who appears to have issued a press release, shame to take publicity from a tragic event.
