Christine Sams of the Sun-Herald profiled how record bosses in Australia decided to launch Holly Valance’s career in the UK instead of her homeland down under. Dominic Mohan of The Sun explained, “I don’t believe if her single had been released in Australia first, it would have made No1 in Australia.” He added, “There does seem to be a London credibility thing. It’s almost as though Australia has felt a little bit cut off from the rest of the world, so maybe they need some reassurance that what they’re putting out there is OK.”
