Lou Pearlman In Contempt In Aaron Carter Lawsuit
Courtroom Judge William Leven today found Lou Pearlman and TransContinental Records in contempt of court for ignoring the judge’s previous court order to produce documents relating to royalty payments. Judge Leven further fined them $2,500.00 in the Hillsborough County Case #02-5780 “Aaron Carter by his parents and guardians-in-fact Robert Carter and Jane E. Carter versus TransContinental Records Inc. and Louis J. Pearlman.” Said Bill Yanger, attorney for parents Jane and Bob Carter, “Lou Pearlman may think he can ignore Aaron Carter; he may think he can ignore me, but Pearlman learned today that he’d better not ignore a Circuit Court Judge in Hillsborough County.”

According to MTV.com, Aaron Carter has been named Celebrity Grand Marshal of the Krewe of Endymion for the 37th annual New Orleans Mardi Gras parade. Other members of the Carter family will also attend the March 1st event, along with Kool and the Gang and Creedence Clearwater Revisited.

Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and his pop star brother, Aaron Carter, will be featured in a safety video about life jackets. “We’re into helping to save lives,” said Nick Carter. Nick and Aaron filmed their opening part in Key West during the APBA Offshore World Powerboat Championships (which Nick’s team won). “It’s only a cameo performance, a short session with the boys talking to each other,” but it gets the safety story across to teenagers,” said Jim Zons who is co-producing the video with Bob Black for the PFDMA.

January 23, 2003 – Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and his brother Aaron Carter served as judges for Wednesday night’s episode of Star Search. Amongst the brothers comments:
For CJ Johnson (singer): “What you got to say? You know what. We gave you four stars. You are a very good dancer and in four years you’ll have competition with Justin Timberlake.”

At the end of a recent episode of ‘Star Search’, host, Arsenio Hall, announced that next weeks celebrity judges were to be Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and his singing sensation brother Aaron Carter. Nick will judge on January 22nd (Wednesday) and Aaron will judge either on Wednesday next to his brother or on Thursday, the following night.
