In an interview with Todd Leopold of CNN, Lou Pearlman shrugs off the criticism of taking financial advantage of his bands. Many of the complaints of mistreatment come from attorneys trying to get a piece of the pie, “It’s not the guys; it’s the lawyers,” he says, adding that he still has good relationships with many of his musicians — and as for the music, the sales speak for themselves. “The bottom line is — look at the numbers,” says Pearlman.
