Louis Verdad Comments On Designing VMA Outfits

The Daily Magazine is covering LA fashion week. They interviewed Louis Verdad, who designed the MTV Video Music Awards outfits for Britney Spears Christina Aguilera, and Madonna. Here’s the part of the interview where he talks about Britney, and Christina:
Q: You dressed them all?
A: I did. I did Christina before and she’s great. That was my first time with Britney and… I don’t think I’ll ever do it again.
Q: Why?
A: She’s just not the kind of costumer I love to dress. I always say the life a lot of people lead is smog: When it disappears, there’s nothing left. A lot have substance. A lot don’t. I prefer substance.
