Lucie Silvas Recording Sophomore Album

Lucie Silvas checked in with fans on her blog at Myspace on July 8th. “I am hidden away in the middle of nowhere at a beautiful residential studio recording my 2nd album,” she writes. “Every stage we are going through is so exciting, of course I am very impatient to get it finished but loving every minute of the process. We are working long days and ending them with a few bottles of red wine and watching The Stones on tour for the 50th time-a favorite of Tom Meadows (my drummer) and a regular visual on the tour bus! Hearing these songs come together after writing and recording pretty ruff demos is a dream come true, being able to experiment with sounds and try new things has changed the way I look at the music I wanna do and the kind of artist I am trying to be.” Read more.
