BBC News caught up with Lucie Silvas in a ‘Talking Shop’ Q&A, and asked the singer to describe her sound on her latest effort, ‘The Same Side’. “I feel I’ve calmed down,” Silvas responded. “I don’t want to be in competition with anyone, I want to sing like me and have an identity that people can recognize.
