Lynne Explains Britney’s Sickness & Busy Schedule
Britney Spears’ mother Lynn posted a new message on her daughter’s newly revamped website on Thursday. She wrote, “Where do I begin? I have been traveling quite a bit lately with Britney. I still don’t see how she does it. Tonight is the Diane Sawyer Special. She has told me all about it. It was shot October 20th. Brit left that filming and immediately went to work on her ABC special doing the promos and camera blocking. She also did an MTV interview the same day. Britney shot the ABC Special October 23rd. Bryan, Brit and Fe caught a private jet at 6.00 AM the next morning and was at Jamie Lynn’s last pep rally, which I have previously mentioned. She went to London the same day to perform on various shows. After so many days of that crazy schedule, Britney came down with the flu. Those 14 hour days finally caught up with her. Fe had been sick too, but not with as bad a strain of flu as Brit. When Brit called and asked me what I had to do the next day, I thought she was making conversation. Instead, she asked me to pick her and Fe up at the airport. Now, don’t get me wrong, I didn’t like the fact that she was sick, but I was excited to have her coming home.”
