During construction of the stage for Madonna’s scheduled July l9th ‘Sticky & Sweet’ show at the Velodrome Stadium in Marseilles, France, the roof accidentally fell causing injury to seven workers and one death.
In reaction to the tragic news, the Material Girl issued the following statement:
I am devastated to have just received this tragicnews. My prayers go out to those who were injured and their Families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.
