Pete Clark of the London Evening Standard reviewed Madonna’s British stage debut with ‘Up For Grabs’ saying “the girl done good” afterwards. On a negative note though, Clark said, “there is still the shock of discovering that Madonna has a little voice. Add to this a certain nervousness of demeanor, and you might be forgiven for thinking that her first half-dozen lines were repeated requests to be allowed to visit the toilet.”
