Marc S. Malkin of New York magazine reports that Madonna is seeing the success of the Los Angeles Pussycat Dolls burlesquelike revue and the big money deal Celine Dion nabbed in Las Vegas as an opportunity to create her own Vegas act based on her infamous 1993 world tour, ‘The Girlie Show’. Madonna doesn’t plan to be in the show herself though, but instead work behind-the-scenes. Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin commented, “I’m flattered because it’s Madonna, but I also don’t want anyone copying me.” Read more.
