As more rumors swirl on the divorce between Madonna and Guy Ritchie, the pop star’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow is offering the singer support. NBC’s Dawna Friesen reported from London for the ‘Today’ show, talking with showbiz columnist Ashley Pearson about the situation. “Everyone’s looking to lead the story,” Pearson said. “And if it means kind of making up something or pushing something a little bit they certainly are willing to do that.”
Adam Helliker of the Sunday Express said rumors that Guy is after the Material Girl’s $500 million fortune are likely not true. “I don’t think it’s about money,” Helliker said. “I think it’s giving him the chance because he’s just turned 40 to start again, and to actually calm down.
