Madonna Hates Awards Shows

Madonna tells W magazine that she is no fan of awards shows, and claims that’s the real reason behind her last-minute cancellation at the Golden Globes this year. “I wanted to hang out with my kids,” she said. “On my list of priorities, it wasn’t that important. I have a hard time with award shows. They’re just dumb. They’re just fashion shows and ratings for TV and they don’t mean anything.”
