Madonna was a guest on ‘The Late Show’ on Thursday night (January 11), when Dave Letterman brought up the topic of stars who don’t wear underwear. “I love underpants,” Madonna joked. “I’ve come to New York, and the first thing I hear is about everyone not wearing their underpants. What’s going on?” When Dave mentioned that Madonna had once given him a pair of her unmentionables, Madonna quipped, “Maybe you could send them to Britney.”
Madonna Sticks Up For Rosie
January 13, 2007 – Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Thursday night, “Madonna’s jumped into this Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump feud and defended her friend Rosie on the ‘Today’ show this morning. In fact, to show her support for Madonna, today she went out and adopted a lesbian baby.”

And American Life was a global success just because it did not far well in the US does not make it a flop. Britney is the one who asked Madonna to work on that single not the’, ‘other way around. She used Madonna’s global pull to get some press and record sales. The media has been asking Madonna about Britney every where she goes at least Madonna made light of the questions instead of making a big deal out of it.
