Madonna Rejects Acting Role For Daughter Lourdes

Star magazine reports that Madonna said no to an offer to have her 11-year-old daughter Lourdes star in the upcoming dramedy ‘The Secret Life of Bees’. “Madonna didn’t work ’til after high school, and she wants it to be the same way for Lourdes,” a source told the tabloid. “She doesn’t want her to enter that harsh world.” But the source added that Lourdes is lobbying with her 50-year-old mother to begin acting when she turns 14 in October 2010.
