The New York Daily News spoke with Madonna’s rep Liz Rosenberg on reports that the singer’s ‘Re-Invention’ tour will focus on her older material, which runs counter to the Drowned World in 2001, which the opposite was true. “I certainly hoped that [her latest CD] ‘American Life’ would have been a bigger commercial hit, but there were also a series of circumstances at the time of the album’s release, like the war, that certainly contributed to sales being less than we might have hoped for,” Rosenberg said.
