Another record for Madonna on the United World Chart. For the first time since the start of the track chart, an act sits at #1 and #2 in the same week. Madonna overtakes herself with her new smash hit “Sorry”, which shoots to the summit on a 57% increase to 272,000 points. “Sorry” ends then the 15-week reign of the first single from “Confessions On A Dance Floor”, “Hung Up”, that slides at #2 on a 12% decline to 243,000 points. Last week Hung Up tied the record of Cher’s 1999 track “Believe” which spent a record 15 consecutive weeks at #1.
