The New York Daily News reports Madonna has demanded 40 free tickets for rabbis and fellow Kabbalists at each venue of her upcoming world tour, with 50 more for celebrity friends such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Lindsay Lohan. The Material Girl also wants 15 cases of Kabbalah water for every show, sources say.

April 5, 2006 – A source tells Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com that Madonna is interested in buying a house in the ancient Israeli city of Safed, where Kabbalah was born. The Material Girl is lining up a date for her world tour in the city, when she’ll presumably search for the ideal abode. “I know negotiations [for the concert] are at an advanced stage,” the source revealed. “I haven’t heard that anything’s been sewn up – but I’d say it’s 80 percent that she’s coming.”

April 5, 2006 – Madonna won in all categories she was nominated for at the 21st Annual International Dance Music Awards. Madonna scooped Best Pop Dance Track for her 70s-styled “Hung Up” and Best Dance Video for “Hung Up.” 47 year old Madonna also beat her younger nominees like Gwen Stefani and Mariah Carey to be named Best Dance Solo Artist.
