‘There are plenty of artists out there who wish they could sell 5-7 millions copies of an album, so I would hardly call it a flop. It didn’t sell the way her 2 previous albums sold but with all the negative press stating it was an “Anti-American” album (I prefer Anti Madonna) and her pulling the lead video, it did pretty damn good.

I’m very excited about Madonna’s new album’, ‘it’s going to be a smash hit…and who cares if doesn’t reach #1… I really don’t care. For what I’ve already heard of hung up, it’s already a Madonna favorite to me. Go Madonna!!! You’re more than a singer or a celebrity, you’re an inspiration . You’re my life.

I totally predicted that! I knew Madonna was conveniently holding off all post “horse-accident” interviews until album release time. She has good people working with her. First they stir up the media attention (i.e. “Madonna injured in horse accident”). Then they book her on all the biggest tv shows to “talk about the accident (an the new album”.) Good for her! I hope this album does great. But is the “Oprah-audience” really interested in an all dance cd? I hope so!

A better question would be…’, ‘”Does anyone care?” I mean seriously, her album drops next month. I’ve seen limited promotion for it. Hell, I’ve seen more promotion from the psychotic Madonna fans than I have from the mainstream. What’s up with that? I think the lack of promotion is giving teeth to the rumor that WB doesn’t see this album as a priority.

I am sure she is going to go her normal publicity route with appearances and performances on Letterman, MTV, the European market, Oprah… but I would love to see her on Conan and Ellen.. That would be awesome.. Oh and the Kabbalah rumor… I doubt she is trying to push it on to Oprah.. she hasn’t in the past 10 years so why start now?

  6. Babar says:

Madonna has plenty of time left to promote her album. The album is almost two months away. Plenty of time to release the single to radios comfortably and let it rock the charts. Plus everything is going like clockwork. The recordings, the strategies and the promotion. Can’t wait for her album.
