Fans Boo Madonna And Guy Ritchie At ‘Revolver’ Premiere
September 21, 2005 – The Times of London reports that Madonna and hubby Guy Ritchie were booed by large sections of a crowd of 2,000 fans that had turned up at Leicester Square for the premiere of his new film ‘Revolver’, upset that they had been ignored. Madonna commented that it was Ritchie’s night and she enjoyed not having to work the red carpet. “This is fun for me. I get to dress up and show up,” she said. While the couple disappeared into the Odeon cinema without saying a word to their fans, the film’s star Jason Statham spent nearly an hour signing autographs.
